Born and raised in Lake County, I’ve spent my career serving students and families across our communities. I’ve worked in multiple districts as a teacher and and admin. I have coached at Lower Lake, Upper Lake, and Middletown, giving me real experience around the lake and strong relationships in every corner. I was a teacher in Lower Lake and Upper lake when I was recruited to be an admin at Middletown and then Lower Lake.
I believe in preparing students for both college and career by expanding CTE, strengthening academics, and embracing AI & technology so every student is ready for the future. I also believe in flipping the pyramid - I am not a top-down administrator. I believe leadership should work with and for districts, not above them. I have also heard clearly that transparency is needed and I am committed to open communication, honesty, and making sure all schools have a voice. I’m running for Lake County Superintendent of Schools to bring practical leadership, innovation, and support to every district around the lake.
